Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an experienced service technician to support our petroleum equipment operations. You will troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units, electronic POS systems, install and test new equipment, and work closely with customers to explain technical issues in plain language.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 2 years of field experience with dispenser hydraulics and submerged pumps, plus dispenser certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record.
• At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Hold valid dispenser certification(s).
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather; daily local travel; lifting 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program and test new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
