Job description

Summary/Objective:

In this position, you will lead, coordinate, and manage the construction and installation of equipment in accordance with federal, state, and company policies and regulations. Daily communication and interaction with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies are required. The crew foreman must be detail-oriented, vigilant about safety issues, report concerns to superiors, and strive to complete projects on time.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Certification and training from petroleum equipment manufacturers are a plus (training provided).
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Experience with petroleum construction is a MUST! (e.g., building gas stations)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Operator experience with heavy equipment (backhoe, trackhoe, skid steer) is a plus.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel.
  • Experience managing a crew and working with subcontractors on construction sites.
  • Monitor and maintain schedules for crew and subcontractors.
  • Document daily activities, materials used, testing, inspections, and visitors. Foster positive relationships to ensure timely project completion within budget.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Procure equipment and supplies, and plan projects to minimize costs.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience installing fuel handling equipment.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with petroleum construction is a MUST!

Additional Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

Work occurs in warehouses, offices, or outdoor construction sites.

Physical Demands:

Role involves both sedentary and physical activities. Ability to lift 25 pounds, move across construction sites, and stand for extended periods.

Position Details:

Full-time position with expected hours.

Work Authorization:

US work authorization required.

Travel:

  • Minimal, local travel expected.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
