Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a PET Technologist to join our Mesquite team. You will perform PET imaging, manage radiopharmaceutical injections, ensure QA, and collaborate with Medical Director to maintain safety and accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, CNMT/ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable, plus strong customer service and teamwork to support high-quality cancer care across the network.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or in Radiologic Technology with PET.
• CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
• Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic PET imaging procedures including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and/or IV contrast.
• Assists with QA, scheduling, and data management for PET imaging.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
• Supports collection of clinical data for follow-up and education.
