Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or equivalent grooming training.
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred; independent problem solving and judgment.
• Experience as a professional groomer or completion of grooming program.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments; ensure safety and well‑being of pets.
• Interact with pet parents, provide grooming recommendations and maintain salon cleanliness.
• Train and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
