Job summary

MPM Retail Holdings is a locally owned Pet Supplies Plus franchise recruiting Store Team Members to support neighbor service, stock, cleanliness and pet care across our North and South Carolina stores. You will greet neighbors, assist with products, process transactions, restock, unload deliveries, handle animals, and follow safety and cleanliness standards while learning multiple store areas.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in pets and a willingness to learn about animals, products, and services.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete tasks accurately, follow procedures, and respond positively to coaching.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 40–65 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet neighbors and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance with products and services.
• Process purchases, returns, and loyalty information with accuracy.
• Complete daily stocking, down stocking, merchandising, price changes, and cleaning.
• Safely unload and process deliveries after training.
• Assist neighbors by carrying purchases to vehicles when needed.
• Provide proper care for pets in store, including cleaning habitats and feeding/watering.
• Answer routine animal care questions and seek leadership help when needed.
• Follow cleanliness, safety, and cash-handling standards; support other areas as needed.
