Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the West Ashley location (1133 Savannah Hwy). The role supports the Store Manager to boost sales and customer satisfaction while upholding our “Do what is right by the customer” policy.

Expect a 40-hour week, hands-on team leadership, inventory control, performance feedback, and safe vehicle duties including Same Day Delivery. The position offers competitive hourly pay and employee discounts plus pet food perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 40 hours per week.
• Lead and support store team and communicate with customers.
• Assist as needed and follow Store Manager instructions.
• Conduct performance evaluations when requested by Store Manager.
• Ensure safety and policy compliance in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management using point of sale system and stock controls.
• Open/close registers and manage customer purchases.
• Direct daily tasks of team members and ensure service quality.
• Attend in-person Assistant Store Manager meetings as required.
• Safely operate delivery vehicle for Same Day Delivery orders.
