Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in a retail manager role or a minimum of 1 year in a Store Manager role
• Enjoy working with and around animals.
• College degree an asset

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, service, and customer experience initiatives to achieve KPIs and store performance; train the team to deliver customer experience.
• Build relationships and drive ongoing customer satisfaction; review ratings and take action as needed.
• Protect employees and customers by maintaining a safe, clean store environment and animal care responsibilities.
• Motivate, coach, develop, and manage performance focusing on customer experience and selling model.
• Ensure Brand Standards and operational excellence are maintained.
• Inventory management: place orders within budget and maintain inventory accuracy; shrink goals.
• Manage labor hours to meet customer needs and comply with operations.
• Execute training plans, new hire checklists, and merchandising standards.
• Develop staffing plans and coordinate hiring to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
