Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Franklin, TN, is seeking a Pet Specialty Category Management Analyst to turn data into strategic recommendations for our category teams and retailers. The role supports analysts and managers with analytics and compelling customer presentations.

You will leverage data to reveal trends, track objectives, and refresh dashboards while collaborating with multiple teams to deliver actionable insights that move the business forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2 years in sales or category analytics or management.
• 2 years of consumer-packaged goods analytics experience.
• Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to distill data into clear stories.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data to identify business trends, shopper trends, product performance, and provide actionable recommendations to partner retailers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to track performance of business objectives (shelf performance, retailer initiatives).
• Build, update and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards (weekly POS + monthly category recaps).
• Provide ad hoc support as needed.
• Support category advisor team and partner with customers to drive action.
• Develop category presentations with syndicated and other data sources.
