Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience required; 2+ years preferred, especially in prescription verification, fulfillment, mail-order, or high-volume operations.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license as required by the applicable state of operation.
• Experience with prescription verification processes and pharmacy fulfillment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription information including patient details, medication, dosage, quantity, refills, directions, and veterinarian authorization.
• Answer and manage inbound calls, provide prescription-related support, document interactions, and elevate questions to a pharmacist as needed.
• Review orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before processing.
• Prepare and package prescription orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and professional presentation.
