Job summary

Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona in Phoenix seeks a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic imaging under physician supervision.

You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control while maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting clinic operations across locations. Applicable licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

  • High school education required.
  • 1 year of experience as PET Technologist preferred.
  • State CRT, Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) license.
  • ARRT Certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of one year active experience as a PET/CT Technologist; recent graduates eligible and must pass registry within 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and record dosages; perform PET/CT imaging as prescribed.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, calibration, and disposal of radioactive materials; maintain equipment and comply with safety regulations.
  • Explain procedures and safety precautions to patients; assist during examinations and protect patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
  • Maintain active state licensure and meet continuing education requirements; adhere to policies for patient care and billing.
  • Support clinic operations; train new staff and collaborate across locations.
