Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto seeks a PET/MRI Technologist to perform nuclear medicine and PET/MRI procedures, under medical supervision, across patients of all ages. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, follow ALARA guidelines, and support scheduling and prioritization of studies in RIS & EPIC.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical PET experience
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with precision

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructing Residents and other technologists.
• Calibrate and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the camera/section.
• Evaluate image quality for diagnostic value.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals from pre-prepared kits and calibrate instruments.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, place orders as needed.
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging techniques and measurements.
• Mentor staff and coordinate section activities.
