Qualifications

• Working toward a degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Psychology or Business with Marketing focus.
• Basic understanding of key marketing principles – completion of two marketing classes.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with conducting competitive or market analyses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, and opportunities within the pet products industry.
• Analyze consumer insights and marketplace data to support product and marketing innovation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for new products, enhancements, and solutions that deliver value to pets and pet parents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and develop innovative concepts.
• Help build consumer empathy by researching how pet parents experience products today.
• Support product innovation projects by investigating product claims, features, and market positioning.
• Assist in developing recommendations and presentations that inform innovation and business strategy.
• Coordinate with external agencies, research partners, and vendors while supporting additional projects.
