Job summary

Medford Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Kennel Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, clients, and staff in Medford, Oregon. Responsibilities include sanitizing kennels, common areas and treatment spaces, and keeping supplies stocked.

Prior veterinary kennel experience is preferred, with opportunities to learn and grow within the field. The role offers an hourly wage of $16–$18, 10-hour shifts Monday–Saturday, with Sunday availability required in the mornings

Qualifications

• Previous kennel/kennel technician experience preferred.
• Confidence working with dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Strong work ethic and initiative; able to stay organized in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties to sanitize kennels, common spaces and treatment areas.
• Keep supplies stocked and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support the veterinary team by maintaining order and assisting as needed.
