Job summary

El Centro Regional Medical Center in California is seeking a PET Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic PET and nuclear medicine procedures, assisting physicians, and preparing radiopharmaceuticals.

You will operate PET imaging equipment, follow radiation safety rules, conduct quality control, and ensure proper documentation while delivering patient care per regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• California Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic PET procedures.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and position patients for scanning.
• Operate nuclear medicine and PET imaging equipment with strict QC and radiation safety.
• Assist staff with care for patients receiving radiopharmaceuticals and proper disposal of radioactive waste.
