Job summary

El Centro Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform diagnostic imaging using radioactive isotopes under medical supervision. The role requires CTNM certification, AMA Nuclear Medicine education, and BLS, with 1–2 years of recent experience.

In California, the pay range will be determined based on experience, licensure, and certifications, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus noted. This is a full-time position in the Nuclear Medicine department.

Qualifications

• Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) is required.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1–2 years of recent experience.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isotope handling.

Responsibilities

• Under medical supervision, performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients of all ages utilizing various imaging equipment.
• Performs examinations including the application of radioactive isotopes for diagnosis.
• Follows State and Federal guidelines for safe use, receipt, and disposal of radioactive materials used in Nuclear Medicine.
