Job summary

ConnectedHealth seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Palm Desert, CA. You will perform PET imaging, operate sophisticated nuclear imaging systems, and ensure safety and quality protocols are met.

Collaboration with physicians to interpret results and provide patient care is essential. Requirements include CNMT and ARRT(N), CA licensure, and at least 1 year of PET experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training.
• Active CNMT certification; ARRT(N) certification.
• Minimum 1 year PET/nuclear medicine experience; California license.
• Ability to work 11:00 AM–7:30 PM; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Nuclear Medicine imaging, primarily PET scans, following safety/quality protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment to ensure scan quality and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient data, and equipment logs.
• Educate and support patients through the imaging process, ensuring comfort.
