The role involves performing PET scan imaging, operating advanced nuclear imaging equipment, and ensuring safety and quality protocols are met. Provide accurate and comprehensive Nuclear Medicine imaging, primarily focusing on PET scans, adhering to all safety and quality protocols.
Operate and troubleshoot advanced nuclear imaging equipment to ensure optimal scan quality and patient safety.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment logs in compliance with hospital policies.
Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process, addressing questions and ensuring comfort during procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
Active CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification.
ARRT (N) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine, specializing in PET scans.
California license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Ability to work standard shift hours from 11:00AM to 7:30PM.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in a hospital setting.
