Job summary

Belmont Shore Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dynamic Hospital Manager to lead our growing team on-site in Long Beach, CA. You will oversee operations, drive revenue, manage costs, and cultivate a patient- and client-focused culture in collaboration with the Managing Veterinarian.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of managerial experience in retail, healthcare, or service sectors, a business degree, and a proven track record of improving processes, staffing, and client service while maintaining

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs.
• Manage payroll for hospital staff.
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs.
• Champion change and identify, document, share, and promote best practices.
• Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs.
