Job summary

Hunter Animal Hospital, part of National Veterinary Associates, is seeking a results-driven Hospital Manager to lead our expanding team on-site. You will work closely with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure profitable, high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service.

As Hospital Manager, you will drive revenue, manage costs, oversee operations, and cultivate a cohesive team culture. Regular on-site attendance is required to effectively lead and interact with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting with increased responsibility is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and be accountable for hospital performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast needs and trends.
• Manage accounts receivable.
• Oversee inventory and control facility and administrative costs.
• Manage payroll for hospital staff.
• Develop hospital schedules and optimize labor costs.
• Champion best practices and share/process improvements.
• Lead the team to improve client service and operations.
• Implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain licensure for all DVMs.
