Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Hospital Manager for Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Clinic in Burlington, WA. You will lead the hospital support team, partner with the DVM, and drive efficient operations, revenue, and cost control while delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

The role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and compliant management of staff and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years of direct office management experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hospital support staff and achieves labor goals.
• Hires, trains, and orients clinic staff and handles new hire paperwork.
• Manages schedules for technical and administrative staff; coordinates with the DVM.
• Oversees daily operations and ensures compliance with administrative responsibilities.
• Reviews revenue, labor, and employee issues with leadership weekly.
• Maintains local accounting, budgets, and vendor invoices.
• Ensures licenses and compliance for DVMs are up to date.
