Bring your passion and experience to Windham Animal Hospital! We’re looking for an Experienced Pet Groomer to join our dedicated team in a part-time role with the potential to transition into a full-time position.
Our established grooming facility has a full appointment schedule and a loyal clientele, so you’ll have the opportunity to begin grooming immediately without needing to build a client base from scratch. Have established clients of your own? You’re welcome to bring them with you.
What You’ll Do
- Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims
- Consult with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and preferences
- Handle and restrain pets calmly, gently, and safely throughout the grooming process
- Protect the safety, comfort, and well‑being of every pet in your care
- Monitor pets’ health and behavior during grooming appointments
- Report health or behavioral concerns to the pet owner or veterinary team as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of each pet’s grooming history
- Keep the grooming area clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Collaborate with the hospital’s medical staff regarding overlapping patient needs
- Provide attentive, professional service that builds long‑term client relationships
What You’ll Bring
- Previous professional pet grooming experience
- Strong bathing, brushing, haircutting, and nail‑trimming skills

- Strong customer service and client communication skills
