Job summary

Pet Paradise in Pooler, GA is seeking a Professional, friendly and motivated Pet Stylist/Groomer to join our team. This Part-time role offers potential to grow into Full-Time with a flexible schedule including weekends.

You will provide grooming and related services, greet guests, and help grow our customer base while earning commissions and bonuses. Employee perks include sign-on bonuses and discounts on grooming and veterinary care.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service oriented and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with standard cuts for all breeds and able to handle dogs and cats safely.
• Great work ethic, organized, reliable, and a team player.
• Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and explain services available and costs.
• Groom several pets per day in a safe, professional manner.
• Check for parasites, lumps, bumps, or cuts prior to bathing.
• Clean ears, trim nails, and express external anal glands.
• Bath, demat, brush, and blow-dry pets as needed.
• Maintain grooming room cleanliness and equipment.
• Greet guests professionally and assist with service needs.
• Other duties as assigned by Resort Manager and/or Grooming Manager.
