Job summary

Pet Paradise is seeking a Professional, Friendly, and Motivated Pet Stylist/Groomer to join our team at our West Palm Beach location. The role offers 50% commission on grooms, 40% on baths, with a sign-on bonus and additional bonuses available.

You will provide grooming services, consult with pet parents, and maintain a clean grooming area while helping grow our customer base through outreach. Flexible scheduling is appreciated.

Qualifications

• One year of related grooming experience and/or training.
• Customer service orientation and strong verbal communication.
• Familiar with standard breed cuts; able to handle dogs/cats safely.
• Strong work ethic; organized, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Maintain a clean, healthy environment for guests.
• Flexible to resort schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Providing customer service via consultations and cost explanations.
• Physical ability to groom several guests per day safely.
• Check for parasites, lumps, bumps, or cuts prior to bathing.
• Clean and pluck ears, trim nails, express glands.
• Bathing guests with proper products, dematting, brushing, drying.
• Maintain grooming room cleanliness and equipment.
• Work indoors in heated, humid environment with loud dryers.
• Grow customer base by making calls and cross-selling.
• Greet and check in guests professionally.
• Other duties as assigned by Resort Manager.
