Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a grooming associate to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats. You will check pets in, greet clients, and help schedule appointments while maintaining a clean, safe grooming area.

The role requires the ability to lift and move pets, operate grooming tools, and follow company procedures. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year grooming/styling experience with dogs and cats.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.
• Read, write, and count accurately; able to follow instructions and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services for dogs or cats.
• Answer phone, schedule appointments, and generate business by contacting clients.
• Follow safety rules and Seven Critical Signs of Stress during appointments.
• Maintain grooming tools and keep areas sanitized.
• Assist in store operations as needed.
