Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a pet groomer to deliver professional grooming services for dogs and cats, using brushing and cutting techniques to meet specific patterns and styles.

You will schedule appointments, greet clients, and ensure a high level of animal welfare, safety, and cleanliness. Prior experience with grooming tools and customer communication is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year grooming/styling pets. Must be comfortable with dogs and cats. Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing to purchase required tools.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense. Associates must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services for dogs or cats according to established techniques.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and schedule appointments.
• Follow safety rules and maintain cleanliness of the grooming area.
• Clip, bathe, and shape pets using appropriate grooming tools.
• Communicate with customers about grooming preferences and patterns.
