Petco is seeking a Groomer to provide expert grooming services for clients’ pets in our Wake Forest grooming salon. You will deliver bath, cut, and styling services with care, ensuring each pet’s safety and comfort while meeting high standards.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, breed knowledge, and the ability to advise pet parents on maintenance and at-home care. Training and growth opportunities exist within the Grooming Salon Leader and Mentor paths.

Qualifications

• Proven grooming skills with attention to safety and animal welfare.
• Excellent customer service and communication with pet parents.
• Knowledge of breed standards and grooming requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services (bath, cut, trim, style) per owner instructions.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
• Ensure salon safety, cleanliness and sanitation per policy.
• Educate pet parents on at-home grooming and care tips.
