Petco is hiring a Groomer to provide professional grooming services for clients’ pets in our Durham location. You will perform bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, along with nail trimming and ear cleaning, ensuring each pet’s comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program or professional grooming experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning with care.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and offer grooming recommendations.
• Maintain salon hygiene and safety per Petco standards.
• Train, support, and supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
