Wellspring Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our growing veterinary support team. We provide medical care alongside professional grooming services and are proud to serve pets and their families in our community.

Our hospital features a dedicated, state-of-the-art grooming facility where groomers manage their services, build client relationships, and work with a supportive veterinary team.

Qualifications

• Professional pet grooming experience with diverse breeds and coat types.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards.
• Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Grooming certification is a plus.
• Portfolio and references required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression.
• Evaluate coat and skin condition; communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners.
• Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations.
• Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area.
