The role requires grooming experience, own tools or willingness to purchase, and ability to work varied hours in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets. Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing purchase required tools.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Follow and demonstrate all Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist in generating business by calling existing and new customers, scheduling appointments and reminders.
• Book appointments and greet pets as they come in.
• Maintain grooming forms and documentation.
• Clip dog hair according to pattern using clippers and shears.
• Safely work around live animals and maintain cleanliness of grooming area.
