Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Missouri is seeking an experienced pet groomer to provide grooming services for dogs and cats, following established techniques and customer instructions. You will greet clients, book appointments, and help keep our grooming area clean and safe.

You must be comfortable handling animals, use professional grooming tools, and maintain accurate grooming records. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year grooming/styling pets.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing to purchase.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.

Responsibilities

• Groom dogs and cats to clients' desired patterns using clippers, combs, and shears.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments; greet pets on arrival.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in grooming area and work space.
• Observe the Seven Critical Signs of Stress and respond appropriately.
