Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. You will bathe, clip, and groom dogs according to breed standards and owner preferences, ensuring pets look and feel their best. Reliability, compassion, and a love for pets are essential. Proficiency with all breeds, sizes, and ages, along with the use of scissors and clippers, is required. This is not a training position.

Responsibilities

• Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
• Bathe dogs and dry coats
• Execute clipping techniques and style requests
• Examine for parasites or skin conditions
• Trim nails
• Ensure pet safety at all times
• Follow sanitary and cleaning procedures
• Communicate effectively with pet owners

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a dog groomer or similar role
• Comfortable working with anxious animals
• Ability to stand long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
• Willingness to learn and participate in continuing education
• Effective communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with bathing, clipping, nail trimming, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning
