Chalco Hills Animal Hospital has a new opportunity for an animal lover to join our team as a professional groomer. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work, building relationships with the pet and clients.

Availability must consist of Monday and Thursday 8 am- 7 pm and Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 8 am-5 pm,

You Are Responsible For All Grooming Services, Including

• Bathing, drying, grooming/hair cutting as requested by client, styling, brushing out, flea treatments, clipping/filing nails, gland expression, de-matting, ear hair removal, brushing teeth, and cleaning up
• Keeping your area clean throughout the day and end of the shift
• Engaging with customers to ensure their requests are understood
• Evaluating the condition of the pet and addressing any styling/grooming concerns
• Must have prior knowledge and comfort working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Must have prior knowledge of breed grooming standards
• Certificate in grooming is a plus
  
  

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $15.00 per hour, based on hours worked, plus $50% commission on grooms*
