Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Grinding Room Operator SS 2nd in Siloam Springs, AR to operate a grinder/extruder and manage batch data entry for quality assurance. This hourly production role requires reading, basic math, and strong attention to safety and efficiency.

You will adjust equipment, mix ingredients, monitor temperatures, and work with the team to uphold BE S T practices. On-site hours include day shifts with physical demands such as lifting up to 55 pounds and working in temperature

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and perform basic math.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift license preferred; ability to obtain one after hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinder/extruder; adjust as needed and record batch data for QA.
• Mix ingredients at correct temperatures and load materials for proper blend.
• Follow team practices and participate in meetings to improve processes.
