Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. in Winchester, VA is seeking a Flake to Pellet Machine Operator to safely run the NGR flake-to-pellet system and crane equipment, ensuring PET resin pellets meet quality specs.

Responsibilities include startup/shutdown, monitoring feed, troubleshooting minor issues, performing routine maintenance, and accurate reporting. Must have a high school diploma and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety rules.
• Experience or ability to operate industrial equipment and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate flake-to-pellet system safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production, quality, and scrap and report variances.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Accurately document production and quality information.
