Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to deliver compassionate cancer care in Summerville, SC. This role involves performing diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures as directed by physicians, on a PRN basis. Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved school of radiography with knowledge of nuclear medicine protocols and diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic PET/CT and CT Imaging procedures as directed by physician.
• Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment according to calibration schedule.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to radiology.

Skills

Knowledge of Nuclear medicine procedures and protocols

Skill in positioning patients properly

Skill in preparing and administering contrast materials

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Education

Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
