Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Cambridge, MA is seeking a part-time PET/CT Technologist to operate PET/CT scanners and provide patient-centered care. The role involves preparing patients, performing imaging procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and quality control in line with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Shifts are approx 7:00am-5:00pm, about 35 hours/week. The pay range is $54-$70 per hour, with benefits and DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of the AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain and prepare patients for PET/CT procedures.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure safety.
• Adhere to HIPAA and radiation safety standards.
• Assist with quality control and equipment maintenance.
