Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team in Urbana, IL. You will perform imaging procedures, including radiopharmaceutical administration, and ensure safety and patient confidentiality.

The role emphasizes quality imaging, adherence to QA guidelines, and maintaining compassionate patient care with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary.
• Ability to produce quality special imaging with little supervision.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines.

Anticipated Schedule:

Monday is a requirement. Other days can vary

Potential for full time with guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:

Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
