Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team in Effingham, IL. The role requires Monday as a schedule start, with potential for full-time hours and guaranteed weekly coverage. You will perform imaging procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient care and safety.

Qualified candidates graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Technology program and hold NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N) registry eligibility. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate.
• Registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to obtain permits to practice as necessary.
• Pass pre-employment background check, urine screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform equipment quality checks and adhere to QA guidelines.
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality.

We are seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our #ONETEAM.

Anticipated Schedule:

Monday is a requirement. Other days can vary

Potential for full time with guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:

Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals

Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines

Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program

Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)

Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary

Ability to produce quality special imaging with little supervision

Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
