Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our imaging team in Kansas. This full-time position focuses on performing PET/CT procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and delivering high-quality imaging with patient-centered care.

You will participate in QA, maintain safety protocols, and collaborate with multiple facilities within the SMS ONETEAM. We offer competitive pay and long-term career opportunities in medical imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision.
• Successful pass of pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

Anticipated Schedule:

• 3 days per week on a rotating schedule
• Paid lodging for any possible overnights

Responsibilities:

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality
