Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our imaging team, with the opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving diverse local communities within an employee-centered organization. Occasional Saturday schedule with no on-call requirements.

Must be a Nuclear Medicine Technology program graduate (or soon to graduate), NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N) eligible, and able to meet pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision.
• Pass pre-employment requirements: background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform equipment quality checks and adhere to QA guidelines.
• Maintain compassionate patient care, safety and confidentiality.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

Anticipated Schedule:

Occasional Saturday

No call!

Responsibilities:

Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals

Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines

Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program

Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)

Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary

Ability to produce quality special imaging with little supervision

Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
