Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate imaging equipment on a mobile unit with placements in Easton, PA and Paterson, NJ. This full-time role involves patient-focused PET/CT imaging and ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with radiology standards.

You will explain procedures to patients, position them for optimal imaging, and maintain accurate RIS records while collaborating with radiologists and staff. Shifts are daytime, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography
• Licensed Radiological Technologist where applicable
• Current CPR certification
• Certification in imaging specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanners and acquire images per protocol for diagnostic use
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
• Maintain patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Follow safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines; ensure patient and staff safety
• Perform quality control on PET/CT equipment and monitor radiation standards
• Assist with training of new staff and supervise routine department tasks
