Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or similar.
• Preferred BS Degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field.
• Certified NMTCB or ARRT; dual Radiographer/CT tech certification preferred.
• State license required if applicable for locality.
• Current CPR/BLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Inject radiopharmaceuticals and contrast materials following SOP and safety standards.
• Operate PET/CT scanner to acquire diagnostic cross‑sectional images.
• Perform QA checks on PET/CT equipment and hot lab.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide patient education and communicate risks and procedures clearly.
