CareMount Medical, P.C., the largest independent multispecialty medical group in New York State, provides high-quality care across multiple locations. Our team includes over 600 physicians and advanced practice professionals across more than 40 specialties, affiliated with renowned institutions like Massachusetts General Hospital, Mount Sinai, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.


A PET/CT Technologist operates advanced imaging equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images, administers radiopharmaceuticals, and ensures patient safety and compliance with safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Perform PET/CT scans: Operate equipment, position patients, and set scanning parameters.
  2. Administer radiopharmaceuticals: Safely and accurately administer radioactive drugs for metabolic imaging.
  3. Ensure patient safety: Monitor patients, administer contrast agents, and follow radiation safety procedures.
  4. Image quality and analysis: Capture high-quality images, process data, and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation.
  5. Maintain equipment: Calibrate, perform quality control, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  6. Follow protocols and regulations: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work with physicians, nurses, and radiologists for comprehensive patient care.

The hourly wage ranges from $28.61 to $56.06, based on experience, education, and certifications.
