Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures following established protocols and meet quality expectations.
  • Implement all policies including quality control, equipment operation, radiation safety, and dose management.
  • Insert intra-catheter needles accurately while maintaining aseptic conditions.
  • Administer prescribed isotopes and pharmaceuticals per standards.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure patient safety and high-quality testing.
  • Perform daily quality control checks and document results.
  • Follow radiation safety policies and conduct surveys as required.
  • Document testing results and patient histories accurately using EMR.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Travel to client sites as scheduled, which may vary daily or weekly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent certification from an approved program.
  • CNMT (NM or PET) or ARRT(N) Certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • State licensure if applicable.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment.

Working Conditions

  • Work in outpatient centers, hospitals, clinics, or physician offices with moderate to high patient volume. Travel in all weather conditions is required.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Walking, stooping, turning, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Occupational Exposure

Limited radiation exposure when protocols are followed. Use protective equipment as required.
