Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field is required.
  • ARRT certification required for radiologic professionals.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • CNMT certification from NMTCB is required.
  • NMTCB certification indicates Nuclear Medicine technologist credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging devices, ECG units, laboratory equipment, and radiation instruments as prescribed.
  • Perform scintigraphic scanning and image manipulation with quality control.
  • Archive patient studies, ensure proper doses, and maintain equipment and QC statistics.
  • Consult with physicians and provide data for interpretation.
  • Demonstrate patient care and education, focusing on safety and accuracy.
