Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Syracuse, NY. The position offers PET/CT and SPECT/CT practice with comprehensive benefits and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Training for PET/CT will be provided, and CT tuition support is available.

Ideal candidates include CNMT or ARRT(N) certified professionals, NY SDOH licensure, and BLS, with a focus on patient-centered care and safety. New grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
• Current New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License
• BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification (preferred)
• Prior PET and/or CT experience (preferred)
• PET experience training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
• Prepare, calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes per protocol.
• Review physician orders and verify patient identification before procedures.
• Educate patients regarding exam preparation and expectations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Complete quality control procedures and maintain equipment standards.
• Maintain radiation safety and continuing education compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and imaging team to ensure high-quality care
