Qualifications
- CNMT or ARRT(N) certification is required.
- Current New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
- Prepare, calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes.
- Review orders and verify patient identity before procedures.
- Educate patients on exam preparation and expectations.
- Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
- Maintain quality control and equipment standards.
- Ensure radiation safety compliance and continuing education requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and imaging team to ensure high-quality patient care.
