Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Syracuse, NY, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET/CT and SPECT/CT in a modern outpatient setting. This role offers training in PET/CT and CT tuition support, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required.
Current NYS Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License required.
BLS certification required.
Strong communication and patient-centered care mindset.

Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT
Prepare, calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes per protocols
Review physician orders and verify patient identification before procedures
Educate patients regarding exam preparation and procedural expectations
Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
Complete required quality control procedures and maintain equipment standards
Maintain compliance with radiation safety and continuing education requirements
Work closely with physicians and imaging team to ensure high-quality patient care
