Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Nuclear Medicine experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Current Nuclear Medicine board certification (ARRT/NMTCB) and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine duties with high diagnostic quality.
• Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
• Calculates, measures and records radiation dosage of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Receives, stores and disposes of radioactive materials per procedures.
• Operates PET/CT scanner and assists with CT/PET studies.
• Trains and supervises students and other nuclear medicine staff.
• Maintains records and insurance duties; ensures proper pre_authorizations.
