Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program required.
  • One year of experience as a registered nuclear medicine technologist required.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association required.
  • CNMT or RT(N) certification in current standing with NMTCB or ARRT; registry-eligible individuals may apply and must pass within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs patient nuclear medicine services per department policy.
  • Interprets physician orders accurately and documents exams.
  • Ensures patient safety and maintains patient and department records.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, punctuality, and effective time management.
  • Maintains confidentiality and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
